Lead Cross-PMA Operations and Process Improvement!
Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program/Project Management Analyst to lead cross-PMA operational processes, taskers, deliverables, records, and program-office coordination for PMA-226 at Cherry Point, North Carolina.
The selected candidate will support Government leadership by organizing and interpreting program information, tracking schedules and requirements, improving cross-functional processes, coordinating executive responses, and providing daily oversight and guidance to junior contractor personnel.
This position requires a senior professional who can operate independently, manage high-visibility requirements, and maintain disciplined processes across a complex Naval Aviation program office.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, interpret, and present data relating to PMA programs, requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
- Develop, maintain, and execute processes and process-improvement efforts for cross-PMA functions, requirements, teams, and deliverables.
- Draft and coordinate responses to senior-level taskers, executive briefings, Congressional inquiries, and requests for information.
- Manage, maintain, and organize files, briefs, taskers, and information repositories across the program office.
- Provide daily oversight, task coordination, and guidance for junior contractor personnel.
- Prepare and maintain PMA office notes, Continuity of Operations Plans, Emergency Action Plans, and other directives as required.
- Coordinate meetings, action items, schedules, data calls, reviews, and executive-level program products.
- Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support implementation of more efficient program-office workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, engineering, public administration, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional experience performing program/project management, operations management, business process, or equivalent duties.
- Minimum 7 years of experience supporting NAVAIR and/or the Naval Aviation Enterprise.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, coordinating cross-functional requirements, and supporting senior Government leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading and managing teams in a NAVAIR, Navy, Marine Corps, or other DoW program environment.
- Military experience.
- Experience managing executive taskers, Congressional inquiries, program-office records, COOP / emergency planning, or cross-functional process improvement.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, or similar program-management and collaboration tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or relevant Defense acquisition certification.
