Responsibilities:

Systems Engineering and Requirements Analysis:

  • Apply systems engineering principles to defense industrial base programs, initiatives, and emerging requirements involving production capacity, suppliers, shipyards, infrastructure, workforce, data, technology, and investment.
  • Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and maintain mission, operational, functional, performance, interface, data, and implementation requirements.

  • Evaluate whether proposed solutions, analytical methods, data sources, and implementation plans satisfy requirements and support intended mission outcomes.

Industrial Base Integration and Analysis:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in systems engineering, engineering, industrial engineering, operations research, computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years’ experience in systems engineering, management analysis, engineering analysis, program analysis, defense acquisition, industrial base analysis, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing requirements, performing functional or process analysis, evaluating alternatives, identifying interfaces and dependencies, and communicating technical findings.
  • Experience integrating information from multiple technical and organizational disciplines into defensible recommendations for complex programs or initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering methods, requirements traceability, risk management, lifecycle analysis, process modeling, performance measurement, and implementation planning.
  • Experience preparing and presenting analytical products to senior Government or industry leaders and facilitating multidisciplinary stakeholder discussions.
