You’ll join a high-impact Strategic Finance & FP&A team that sits at the center of decision-making at AcuityMD. Our team helps leadership understand where the business is going, how we should allocate resources, and what actions will create the most long-term value.

This is a generalist finance role with a Strategic Finance orientation. You’ll work across financial analysis, strategic projects, planning, AI-enabled transformation, business performance, and procurement. Rather than owning one narrow process, you’ll tackle a changing set of high-priority problems across the business.

You’ll have meaningful ownership from the start, independently driving analytical and cross-functional work-streams while partnering closely with senior Finance and company leaders. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial and analytical judgment who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, forming a point of view, and translating analysis into decisions and action.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Analysis & Business Partnership: Independently tackle high-priority questions across the business, including AI costs and ROI, market opportunities, new products, pricing and packaging, and strategic investments. Partner cross-functionally to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and turn imperfect data into clear recommendations and decisions.
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Own key areas of forecasting, headcount and spend planning, and financial modeling. Build and improve driver-based models that help leadership understand performance, evaluate scenarios, and make informed decisions around growth, efficiency, and investment.
• AI Transformation & Automation: Help build the next generation of Finance infrastructure at AcuityMD. Improve data quality and connectivity across systems, and develop AI-enabled workflows that make Finance faster, more accurate, and more scalable. Redesign processes and automate repetitive work to create capacity for higher-value analysis and decision support.
• Business Performance & Insights: Analyze financial and operational performance, identify key drivers and leading indicators, and translate findings into clear recommendations. Define and track the metrics and KPIs that matter most to the business, and build reporting and operating cadences that help leadership proactively identify risks, opportunities, and actions.
• Procurement & Spend Optimization: Own and continuously improve procurement processes, tooling, and request workflows. Support vendor evaluations, renewals, benchmarking, and negotiations, while identifying opportunities to reduce costs, optimize licenses, eliminate redundant tools, and improve spend efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience across investment banking, management consulting, Strategic Finance / FP&A, Business Operations, or similar analytical roles, with experience operating in a high-growth technology company strongly preferred.
• Financial & Analytical Rigor: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; comfortable building analyses from a blank page in Excel or Google Sheets, with a high bar for accuracy and an understanding of when additional precision will-or won’t-change a decision.
• Business Judgment & Problem Solving: Highly analytical and intellectually curious, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, reason from first principles, distinguish what matters from what doesn’t, and move from analysis to a clear point of view and recommendation.
• Ownership & Execution: Organized, dependable, and comfortable independently managing multiple workstreams. You take ownership, prioritize effectively, and are willing to move between high-level strategic work and hands-on execution.
• AI, Systems & Data: AI- and systems-minded, with a willingness to rethink existing processes and use AI, automation, and better tooling to improve how work gets done. Comfortable working directly with data; experience with SQL, BI tools, or data visualization is a plus.
• Communication & Partnership: Clear, concise communicator who can turn complex analysis into executive-ready recommendations, adapt the level of detail to the audience, and build strong relationships with cross-functional partners.

AcuityMD is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided. Base Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000

The Product:  AcuityMD uses data and software to help teams collaborate around the complex relationships they have with the users of medical technologies: doctors. Our platform empowers medical technology companies to see how their products are used, understand why outcomes vary, and identify opportunities where physicians or sites of care can better serve their patients.

AcuityMD is a remote-first company. We believe the best talent isn't confined to one zip code, so our team works from wherever they do their best work, across the U.S.

We also believe some of our best work happens face-to-face. Critical projects move faster, our products get better, and our community gets stronger when we're in the same room, so we bring the team together throughout the year for company-wide and team on-sites built around that work.

In practice: expect 4-5 in-person opportunities a year through company/team on-sites and in-person collaboration for critical projects. If you're based near our Boston hub, there's no set requirement for how often you come into the office, that's your call, based on what works best for you and your team.
