Job Summary

As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with the engineering team of our Dutch collaborator who is responsible for creating engineering solutions for mechanical equipment (such as motion-compensated gangways and cranes), sea fastening, grillages, mooring systems, etc. in ever-growing Offshore Wind market.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for developing all 3D models and 2D drawings of the designs using Solid Edge and Auto CAD.
• Prepare report figures and detailed drawings as directed.
• Perform design changes and improvements in a timely manner according to project change demands.
• Estimating, budgeting, and planning for marine operation projects
• Coordinate with the Engineers to align on deliverable timelines and schedules.
• Perform quality control checks on own work to ensure there are no errors.
• Inform and manage the engineering team about the project and planning
• Participates in scheduled project review sessions and meetings with representatives from other engineering disciplines and customers on technical and engineering issues.
• Ensure compliance with company Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualification

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in design projects in the marine /offshore /mechanical/civil steel structural industry.
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture or comparable
• Expert level knowledge in CAD software Solid Edge and AutoCAD
• Ability to understand engineering drawings and convert 2D drawings to 3D models and vice versa with ease.
• Highly organized self-starter able to prioritize work to meet changing timelines.
• Ability to have document control in place.
• Should have good experience in performing hand calculation & results in interpretation
• Collaborate efficiently with the team members
• Open to travel offshore
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
