Job Description :


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain SAP HANA database objects, views, procedures, and functions.


- Create and optimize calculation views, attribute views, and analytical models to support business reporting requirements.


- Develop complex SQL queries, SQLScript procedures, and database functions.


- Work with SAP HANA Studio, SAP HANA Web IDE, or SAP Business Application Studio, as applicable.


- Build and maintain data models to support analytical and operational business requirements.


- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.


- Develop and maintain data integration solutions using SAP data provisioning and related ETL tools.


- Integrate SAP HANA solutions with SAP applications such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and other enterprise systems.


- Support data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.


- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.


- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.


- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and deployment plans.


- Provide production support and implement continuous improvements to existing SAP HANA solutions.


Required Skills & Experience :


- Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA development.


- Proficiency in SQL and SQLScript.


- Experience developing calculation views and other SAP HANA data models.


- Knowledge of SAP HANA database architecture and development concepts.


- Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization.


- Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio, SAP HANA Web IDE, or SAP Business Application Studio.


- Understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data provisioning.


- Experience integrating SAP HANA with SAP applications and external systems.


- Knowledge of data modeling, data validation, and troubleshooting techniques.


- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Skills :


- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW/4HANA environments.


- Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, or SAP Business Warehouse.


- Knowledge of CDS views, ABAP integration, and OData services.


- Experience working on enterprise-scale data warehousing and analytics projects.


- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
