AI Automation Engineer / Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer / Developer to design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate enterprise workflows and business processes across the organization. This role will focus on integrating AI capabilities with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Copilot to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance decision-making. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing AI/LLM-powered applications, workflow automation, API integrations, and enterprise system orchestration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents to automate business processes and operational workflows across the organization.
• Build integrations between AI agents and enterprise platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, and ServiceNow.
• Develop integrations using platform APIs and interfaces such as Dataverse Web API and Power Platform (Dynamics 365), OData/BAPI/RFC/IDoc and SAP BTP (SAP), and ServiceNow REST APIs.
• Develop AI-powered solutions for workflow orchestration, ticket triaging, knowledge retrieval, reporting, and process automation.
• Build and extend Microsoft Copilot capabilities (Copilot Studio, custom copilots, plugins/connectors) to bring AI assistance into everyday business tools.
• Create and maintain APIs, automation scripts, and cloud-based AI services on Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
• Implement prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool integrations, and multi-agent workflows.
• Apply LLMs and AI models to automate tasks such as document processing, data extraction from unstructured sources, and natural-language querying of enterprise data to support decision-making.
• Integrate AI APIs and orchestration tools into existing enterprise architecture using middleware/iPaaS platforms.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain AI agent performance and reliability.
• Document architectures, workflows, and integration specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in software engineering, AI/automation development, or enterprise system integration.
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying AI agents or LLM-powered applications for business process automation.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool/function calling, and multi-agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar).
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Dataverse, Power Platform), SAP (OData, BAPI/RFC, IDoc, SAP BTP), or ServiceNow (REST APIs).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure for deploying and operating AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or similar).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio for building or extending AI assistants.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C#/.NET; ability to build and maintain APIs, automation scripts, and cloud-based services.
• Experience developing AI-powered solutions such as workflow orchestration, ticket triaging, knowledge retrieval, or automated reporting.
• Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS and automation tools (Power Automate, SAP Integration Suite, Logic Apps, MuleSoft, n8n, or similar).
• Understanding of security, governance, and compliance requirements for AI solutions handling enterprise data.
• Experience monitoring, testing, and optimizing production systems for performance and reliability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate process requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Azure AI Search) and intelligent document processing.
• Familiarity with SAP AI offerings (Joule, SAP AI Core) or ServiceNow AI capabilities (Now Assist).
• Experience with agent observability, evaluation frameworks, or LLMOps practices.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, Power Platform Developer) a plus.
