As an Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Intern, you will spend three months gaining hands-on experience while supporting meaningful work at Associated Electric Cooperative’s Dell Power Plant. This paid summer internship offers exposure to environmental compliance or workplace safety-depending on your degree program-while you learn from experienced professionals and see how EH&S supports safe, responsible, and reliable power generation.
What You’ll Do
- Support environmental monitoring, data collection, and compliance activities involving air, water, and waste.
- Assist with workplace safety inspections, audits, training, and other initiatives that help protect employees and plant operations.
- Collaborate with plant professionals and contribute to projects that support continuous improvement, environmental stewardship, and a strong safety culture.
What You’ll Need
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to a three-month summer internship.
