Beijing EHS Specialist

Job Description

• The successful candidate will be based in Beijing and in charge of EHS Beijing office and north region.

• Be responsible for managing, coordinating and monitoring ISO14001 & ISO45001 management system, activities and policies of the Company by working with operations management.

• Lead EHS-related projects requiring coordination with other functions, third parties.

• Govern ISO14001/45001 operation performance for certified Beijing office, internal audit

• Provide direction, monitoring and consulting to Beijing office on chemical safety management, EHS management system and improvement practices.

• Promote and develop best practices to be implemented in the Beijing site

• Regularly renew EHS permits/licenses and other required permits

• Understand and interpret local EHS laws and regulations

• Manage the process of identifying on-going and future environmental, health, and safety needs, and develops action plans to meet those needs

• Provides support to help business growing with professional advice on EHS risk control

• Support corporate and local EHS objectives and targets and make continuous improvement

• Maintain required EHS training courses and online training system, track records as required

• Provides technical expertise in the following specialties: Ecological Protection, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety Engineering.

• Establishes criteria for the development of environmental programs, risk assessment, and employee health and safety.

• Creates program business plans and service delivery strategies.

• Establishes and manages the relationships and performance of vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

• Certified safety engineer qualification.

• ISO14001 &45001 internal auditor qualification

• Typically, at least 5+ years relevant experience.

• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in office productivity tools and AI-enabled applications.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
