Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Facilities Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing industry in Belvidere, Illinois.
We're seeking an Automotive Facilities Engineer to support facility engineering initiatives within a leading automotive manufacturing environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work on assembly operations, facility layouts, infrastructure assessments, and production line coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing facility systems that support efficient manufacturing operations.
Total rewards:

• $35.00 - $50.00 hourly
• Earn a competitive hourly rate between $35 and $50/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Support facility engineering activities within a manufacturing environment
• Review and develop facility and production layouts
• Coordinate overall plant layout maintenance and updates
• Conduct line integrator scope reviews
• Perform electrical distribution surveys and assessments
• Complete facility lighting surveys and evaluations
• Conduct conveyor carrier surveys and inspections
• Identify opportunities to improve facility functionality and efficiency

Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Demonstrate experience in facility engineering activities
• Apply strong knowledge of manufacturing facility layouts
• Review technical drawings, plans, and engineering documentation
• Coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and project teams
• Analyze facility infrastructure and operational requirements
• Hold an engineering degree preferred but not required
• Adapt to a fast-paced automotive production environment
