  • Provide supporting analysis for root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conforming products or lab related processes.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance and replacement program for lab equipment is maintained, and that laboratory safety standards are met.
  • Lead internal audits and prepare the site for external audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Train and mentor QC staff, ensuring they are proficient in testing protocols, quality procedures, and food safety standards.
  • Provide feedback regarding testing capabilities integrated with specification requirements and new product and process development.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve product consistency and food safety.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends related to quality control, including lab efficiency, product performance, and testing accuracy.
