AIRS Medical is a Seoul company founded in 2018 that accelerates magnetic resonance imaging with deep learning. Its SwiftMR software reconstructs high quality images from shorter scans, increasing the number of patients a scanner can serve. The product is cleared in Korea, the United States and Europe and runs as a cloud service alongside hospital scanners.

AIRS Medical is a healthcare technology company using AI to make medical imaging faster and more accessible. Our FDA-cleared solution, SwiftMR, accelerates MRI scans by up to 50%, helping healthcare providers improve efficiency and the patient experience. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for people who want to make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare.

AIRS Commercial Philosophy

At AIRS, we believe disciplined thinking and strong commercial results reinforce one another.

We expect our people to meet or exceed their commitments, create pipeline proactively, forecast accurately, and deliver consistent performance. How we achieve those results matters: through sound judgment, strong discovery, credible business cases, executive engagement, and helping clients make good decisions.

Our job is not to convince every client to buy AIRS. It is to understand what the client is trying to accomplish, determine whether there is a problem worth solving, quantify why it matters, and help the organization make a sound decision.

We value discernment over persuasion, evidence over assumption, and meaningful progress over activity alone.

Our commercial team operates within a disciplined model for account strategy, discovery, qualification, business-case development, executive engagement, and opportunity management. We value process because it improves judgment and execution, while still expecting independent thinking, adaptability, and sound commercial instincts.

Across every role, we look for people who are curious, coachable, commercially minded, comfortable with ambiguity, capable of thinking on their feet, and accountable for measurable outcomes.

The Opportunity

The General Manager is a front-line commercial leader responsible for building, developing, and leading a high-performing sales team across a defined U.S. region.

This is not simply a forecast-management role. The General Manager is expected to improve the quality of thinking and execution across the team, develop talent, create accountability, and directly influence the most important opportunities in the region.

You will operate as both leader and coach, helping sellers understand not only what to do next, but why.

Requirements

What You Will Own

  • Revenue, pipeline, and commercial performance across the region
  • Development and performance of Market Executives
  • Regional strategy, prioritization, and resource allocation
  • Pipeline creation and forecast quality
  • Coaching against the AIRS commercial operating model
  • Executive involvement in strategic opportunities
  • Coordination with Strategic Accounts, Commercial Account Executives, Commercial Development, Marketing, Clinical, Product, and client Success
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and talent development
  • Commercial standards and talent density across the region

Results You Will Deliver

  • Consistently meet or exceed regional revenue targets
  • Build and maintain sufficient pipeline to support current and future revenue goals
  • Deliver accurate, evidence-based forecasts
  • Increase the percentage of sellers consistently achieving quota
  • Improve opportunity quality, conversion, and deal progression
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing commercial talent
  • Identify performance gaps early and take appropriate action
  • Build a region that delivers predictably and consistently, not episodically

You are accountable not only for the quality of the team’s execution, but for the commercial results that execution produces.

What Great Looks Like

You build a team that consistently understands the difference between:

  • effort and activity versus meaningful progress
  • product interest and a qualified opportunity
  • a client complaint and a problem worth solving
  • an advocate and a true internal champion
  • pipeline coverage and executable pipeline

Your sellers improve because your coaching is specific, thoughtful, and actionable. Forecasts reflect evidence rather than optimism. You know when leadership involvement can materially advance an opportunity and when the seller should continue to lead.

Most importantly, you can distinguish meaningful commercial progress from mere effort and activity, and you coach your team to do the same.

What You Will Do

Coach sellers through account strategy, discovery, qualification, business-case development, and deal progression

  • Inspect opportunities for evidence, gaps, and decision risk
  • Help teams understand stakeholder priorities, economic impact, decision processes, and competing organizational priorities
  • Guide the development of credible client business cases
  • Support executive client conversations where leadership involvement adds value
  • Build and maintain sufficient pipeline across the region
  • Recruit, develop, and retain strong commercial talent
  • Maintain forecasting and CRM discipline
  • Partner with Directors, Strategic Accounts where national and regional strategies intersect
  • Translate company strategy into effective field execution

The Athlete We Are Looking For

You are:

  • A strong coach who improves judgment as well as execution
  • Commercially rigorous without becoming bureaucratic
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions, including your own
  • Financially fluent and able to discuss ROI, capacity, capital, revenue, productivity, and economic tradeoffs
  • Credible with senior healthcare executives
  • Highly coachable despite your own leadership experience
  • Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
  • Able to diagnose why an opportunity is or is not progressing
  • Willing to get close to important deals without taking ownership away from the seller
  • Motivated by building strong people and strong systems while delivering strong results

What You Bring

Required

  • Demonstrated success leading B2B sales teams
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder selling environments
  • Strong coaching and talent-development capability
  • Strong business acumen and executive communication skills
  • Evidence of consistent commercial performance

Preferred

  • Healthcare, medtech, medical imaging, AI, or enterprise technology experience
  • Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, or imaging organizations
  • Experience with disciplined qualification methodologies such as MEDDIC

Benefits

What AIRS Offers

  • The chance to help build the commercial organization, not just step into a finished one
  • Real ownership and visibility, with direct access to senior leadership
  • A product with clear clinical and economic value in a large, underpenetrated market
  • A high-performance environment that rewards judgment, curiosity, accountability, and results
  • Exposure to complex customer problems and some of the largest health systems and imaging organizations in the country
  • Meaningful opportunity to grow as the company scales
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and equity
