At Akkodis, we are currently expanding our team and looking for new talent!
We are hiring an SAP Basis Administrator to join our team in Madrid and work on an international project for a leading Swiss private banking organization.
The Project
You will join a global SAP team responsible for ensuring the stability, security and continuous improvement of critical SAP environments. You will work across SAP Basis administration, authorization management and Fiori environments, supporting a complex international banking landscapes
Your Responsibilities
Administer and support SAP Basis environments (S/4HANA and BW)
Manage SAP authorizations, roles and profiles using PFCG and XAMS
Support and administer SAP Fiori environments
Install, configure and maintain SAP systems
Plan and execute upgrades, patches and system enhancements
Monitor and optimize SAP system performance
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis-related issues
Administer SAP BTP environments, including subaccounts and spaces
Manage backup, disaster recovery and high-availability processes
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Collaborate with functional and technical teams on SAP projects and changes
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards

What we're looking for
We are looking for an SAP Basis Administrator with strong experience in SAP Basis, SAP Authorizations and SAP Fiori. The role combines technical administration of SAP landscapes with authorization management and support for modern SAP environments including S/4HANA and BTP.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator
Strong experience with SAP Authorization Concepts
Hands-on experience designing and maintaining SAP roles and authorizations using PFCG and XAMS
Experience administering SAP Fiori environments
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW and SAP HANA
Experience installing, configuring and maintaining SAP systems
Experience with SAP upgrades, patches and system enhancements
Experience with SAP BTP administration, including subaccounts and space management
Experience with SAP Solution Manager and Cloud Connectors
Knowledge of Oracle and SAP HANA databases
Experience working in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
Fluent English
Valid work permit for Spain
Nice to Have
SAP certifications
Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup strategies
Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning tools
Knowledge of networking and security concepts
Banking or financial services experience
Experience working in international environments
German language skills
