Vacant position: Environmental Engineer

Number of Vacant Position: 1 (one)

Place of Work: Elbasan

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To develop and suggest site-specific or entire AlbChrome implementations and programs that improve sites and overall AlbChrome performances.
• To evaluate the implementation of sustainability initiatives throughout AlbChrome and support their implementations by finding possible resources.
• To provide guidance to all sites regarding issues around environmental management and to develop regular reports and analysis of Environmental Governance models.
• To identify improvement areas and to develop the new environmental programs according to Environmental Governance mode.
• To evaluate the possible energy, waste, water savings opportunities around responsibility in line with company strategies and supporting its implementation.
• To develop/update and support/lead the implementation of Regulatory & Compliance, Review & Audit programs to ensure all activities at the sites comply with the local regulations and corporate HESSR programs.
• To follow up and guide the site teams regarding environmental issues in the site teams regarding HESSR issues in the sites and to make preventive suggestions to the management regarding the risks.
• To analyze and report on the Environmental details including Environmental Governance performances of the sites.
• To ensure the development and review of the HQ’s and departments’ KPI metrics.
• To conduct site visits to monitor the implementations outlined by the Company's HESSR Plans and Procedures and, to develop the CAPAs, to assign these CAPAs to relevant people through the information technology applications and following up the process after site visits,
• To review Incident Alerts, Root Cause Investigation and Lessons Learned Reports, and to report to HESSR Director and to ensure Corrective and Preventative Actions and lessons learned are effectively communicated and constantly applied to sites.
• To support HESSR Director for the planned projects during the financing processes related to environmental of International Finance Is-institutions.
• Periodically interact with local authorities and regulatory agencies regarding environmental management at the sites.

• Diploma in engineering, Environmental
• MSc Diploma in Environmental Engineering will be an advantage
• To have a minimum of 5 years of total experience;
• Preferably to have 5-7 years of experience in HESSR management
• To have leadership and management skills.
• To have a working knowledge of local regulations, as well as other International Environmental and Environmentla Laws & Standards (including but not limited to; Environmental Policies of IFIs (EBRD, IFC etc.), Best Available Techniques (BATs), etc.)ESG
• Very good in English language both written and verbal,
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Have the ability to balance and prioritize multiple & multidiscipline projects.
• Possess strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• To have active organization and time management skills.
