Sales Engineer

What will you be doing?

As a Sales Engineer, you are the link between the client’s request and the technical solution. You will prepare cost calculations and quotations for electrical and automation systems in the maritime sector. You gather the correct technical information, contribute ideas for suitable solutions, and translate these into clear proposals for the customer. In doing so, you collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines and ensure swift and professional handling of enquiries.

What do we offer you?

At Alewijnse, you are at the heart of what we do. We’re proud of our maritime roots - but perhaps even more proud of the people who work here. There is an open and supportive atmosphere, with plenty of room to develop yourself. Whether you’re an experienced professional or looking to grow in your career, we’ll help you move forward.

Of course, that includes some attractive benefits:

• A competitive salary between €4600 and €6000 per month based on full-time employment

• Additional pay for overtime

• A laptop and phone to support your work

• 25 holiday days and 13 ADV days (additional days off)

• A pension scheme via PMT

• Opportunities for training, coaching, and career development

• Terms and conditions in line with the Collective Labour Agreement for Metal & Engineering

And perhaps most importantly: you'll be part of a company where people look out for one another. You’ll work with colleagues from all over the world, but that strong sense of community is still very much present. Whether you’re joining a sports activity, a team outing, or simply having a chat over lunch - at Alewijnse, you belong.

And there’s more:

With WeConnect, you stay connected with colleagues. Think: sports activities, a staff association, a company webshop and many other perks.

Who are you?

You have sharp technical insight and enjoy thinking one step ahead. You can switch easily between customer and technical requirements and clearly communicate your ideas. You work independently, but also value being part of a team.

You bring:

• You have completed an MBO or HBO (Bachelor’s) education, preferably in Electrical Engineering

• Do you have experience in a technical environment and in the maritime sector?

• You speak good English

• You are capable of making decisions and taking responsibility

• You are a strong team player and can hold your ground when needed
