The Opportunity: Who Are You?

We are looking for a commercially driven, highly agile Sales Engineer who thrives on building and managing high-performing sales channels. You aren’t just selling equipment; you are a strategic relationship builder who knows how to drive growth through distribution, service, and integrator partners, while also engaging directly with key end-users.

You thrive in a fast-paced, high-velocity commercial environment where quick thinking and adaptability are key. By creating demand for Alfa Laval’s innovative solutions in hygienic fluid handling and food heat transfer, you will ensure our products are specified early in major projects, delivering tangible value to customers across the food, dairy, beverage, and pharma industries.

What You Will Do:

• Develop & Empower Partners: Build highly profitable partnerships across distribution, integration, and service channels. You will align on targets, support with technical expertise, and conduct joint customer visits.
• Create Demand & Influence: Engage directly with key end-users and strategic accounts to influence project specifications and generate “pull-through” opportunities for our partners.
• Commercial Execution: Actively manage your pipeline, nurture leads, prepare value-based proposals, and close deals in a fast-moving market.
• Deliver Superior Customer Experience: Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and external partners to resolve complex issues, assist with quoting, and ensure a world-class customer journey from start to finish.
• Be the Face of Alfa Laval: Stay highly active in the market by conducting customer visits, hosting webinars/seminars, and representing our technology at major industry events.
• Champion Sustainability: Drive optimization audits and launch new, sustainable product lines through our channels and directly with strategic accounts.

What You Bring:

• Education: A Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or similar).
• Industry Expertise: 3-5 years of commercial experience in hygienic fluid handling (pumps, valves, mixing, tank cleaning), heat transfer, or related process equipment.
• Channel Mastery: Proven experience working with distribution, service partners, or indirect sales models.
• Agility & Drive: You are highly organized but highly adaptable, comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM and digital tools to manage your pipeline, forecast accurately, and make data-driven decisions.
