Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to support, maintain and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments. The role will involve working closely with stakeholders and business users to understand requirements, implement scalable solutions, provide day-to-day platform administration and support business reporting and data needs.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Salesforce declarative development, Salesforce CPQ+, user and data administration, managed packages, integrations and Salesforce best practices. Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities:
1.Requirements & Solution Design
- Work with stakeholders and business users to gather and define requirements for new system enhancements.
- Collaborate with the existing team to refine requirements and design sustainable, scalable solutions.
- Translate business requirements into Salesforce configurations and enhancements.
- Challenge requirements where necessary to ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices and support long-term scalability.
2.Salesforce Administration
- Provide day-to-day Salesforce administration and platform support.
- Manage user setup, user access and user administration.
- Maintain assignment rules, escalation rules, notifications and queues.
- Perform data updates and support ongoing data management activities.
- Ensure Salesforce configuration remains aligned with business requirements.
3.Support & Issue Resolution
- Perform triage of inbound Salesforce support cases.
- Assist business users with troubleshooting and resolution of Salesforce issues.
- Investigate reported issues and identify appropriate solutions.
- Escalate bugs and complex technical issues for further review and resolution.
- Provide timely communication and updates to stakeholders during issue resolution.
4.Reporting & Data Management
- Assist business users with Salesforce reporting and data requirements.
- Support data integrity and accuracy across Salesforce.
- Identify data quality issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide recommendations to improve reporting capabilities and data utilization.
5.Platform Enhancement & Optimization
- Proactively identify under-utilized Salesforce functionality.
- Recommend and implement platform enhancements that improve business efficiency.
- Perform required system maintenance and configuration updates.
- Ensure Salesforce capabilities are being effectively utilized across business teams.
6.Managed Packages & Integrations
- Support the installation and configuration of new and existing Salesforce managed packages.
- Support native integrations associated with Salesforce managed packages.
- Work with connected business applications and downstream GTM tools.
- Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues as required.
7.Salesforce CPQ+
- Support and maintain Salesforce CPQ+ functionality.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand CPQ-related requirements.
- Configure and enhance CPQ functionality based on business needs.
- Ensure CPQ solutions follow Salesforce best practices and support scalable business processes.
8.Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work collaboratively with Salesforce administrators, business users and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in Agile development and delivery processes.
- Contribute to change requests, enhancements and platform improvement initiatives.
- Maintain clear documentation for configuration changes and system enhancements.
Required technical skills and competencies:
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce declarative development.
- Strong experience with Salesforce configuration and administration.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CPQ+.
- Experience with user management, queues, assignment rules, escalation rules and notifications.
- Experience supporting Salesforce reporting and data management.
- Experience with managed packages and native integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (ADM-301) preferred/required as specified.
