Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead Agile delivery across enterprise Salesforce programs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a solid understanding of Salesforce Administration, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Salesforce delivery practices.

The role will involve facilitating Agile ceremonies across multiple Scrum teams, managing cross-team dependencies, supporting enterprise delivery governance and taking on Project Management responsibilities when required.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Salesforce Architects, Developers, QA teams, Administrators, Business Analysts, Product Owners and senior client stakeholders. Hands-on Salesforce development is not mandatory, but strong Salesforce platform knowledge and technical awareness are essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scrum Master & Agile Delivery

• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and Scrum of Scrums.
• Drive Agile ceremonies across multiple Salesforce teams and ensure effective adoption of Agile/Scrum principles.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Salesforce Architects, Tech Leads, Developers, QA, Admins, BAs and other stakeholders.
• Identify and remove impediments, blockers, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Track sprint progress, velocity, capacity, burndown/burn-up, commitments and overall delivery health.
• Support teams in improving estimation, sprint planning, predictability, quality and delivery efficiency.
• Promote continuous improvement and help teams become mature and self-organizing.

2. Scrum of Scrums & Dependency Management

• Facilitate Scrum of Scrums for large enterprise Salesforce programs involving multiple Agile teams.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies across Salesforce workstreams.
• Coordinate dependencies between Development, QA, Architecture, Integration, DevOps, Business and Release teams.
• Identify delivery risks early and ensure appropriate mitigation and escalation plans are established.
• Maintain dependency trackers and ensure timely resolution of cross-team blockers.

3. Project Management

• Take ownership of Project Management activities when required.
• Support planning and execution of Salesforce projects from initiation through deployment and stabilization.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, milestones and delivery commitments.
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, dependency trackers and governance reports.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues and upcoming milestones.
• Escalate critical delivery issues and drive them toward resolution.
• Ensure project documentation, governance, reporting and communication are maintained effectively.

4. Salesforce Ecosystem Knowledge

• Maintain strong practical understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and platform fundamentals.
• Understand Salesforce Administration concepts, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Understand Salesforce objects, data models, security and sharing concepts.
• Understand Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles and Sharing.
• Understand Salesforce Flows and automation concepts.
• Understand Salesforce Reports and Dashboards.
• Understand Salesforce releases, deployments, environments and sandbox strategies.
• Maintain conceptual knowledge of Change Sets and Metadata deployments.
• Understand Salesforce integrations and DevOps/CI/CD concepts.
• Understand Salesforce testing, release management, defect management and production support processes.
• Communicate effectively with Salesforce technical teams without requiring hands-on development expertise.

5. Release & Delivery Management

• Support Salesforce release planning and coordinate activities across multiple releases and deployments.
• Coordinate Development, QA, UAT, deployment and production validation activities.
• Track release dependencies, risks, defects and delivery commitments.
• Work with Salesforce DevOps and technical teams to ensure release readiness.
• Support post-release stabilization and production issue tracking.

6. Enterprise & Large-Team Coordination

• Work with large enterprise clients and geographically distributed teams.
• Coordinate multiple Scrum teams working on the same Salesforce program.
• Manage communication across different time zones and regions.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA, Business Analysts and senior leadership.
• Operate effectively within complex enterprise governance environments.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple Salesforce workstreams.

7. Agile Governance & Reporting

• Track and report Agile metrics including velocity, sprint predictability, throughput, cycle time and burndown.
• Prepare delivery dashboards, status reports and governance updates.
• Maintain RAID logs, action trackers, dependency reports and project documentation.
• Support Agile maturity and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide clear visibility into delivery progress, risks, dependencies and overall program health.

8. Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key communication point between delivery teams and client stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical and delivery topics in a clear business-oriented manner.
• Facilitate difficult conversations, escalations, conflicts and competing priorities.
• Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on project health, risks and delivery commitments.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies

• 8+ years of overall experience with strong experience as a Scrum Master in Salesforce environments.
• Strong experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Administration concepts.
• Good understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Scrum of Scrums.
• Experience coordinating multiple Scrum teams and large Salesforce programs.
• Strong dependency, risk, issue and escalation management skills.
• Experience with Salesforce release and delivery processes.
• Strong experience with Jira, Confluence and Agile delivery tools.
• Ability to understand Salesforce technical discussions, configurations, integrations, releases and DevOps processes.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
