As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. - Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned airport facilities, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials when assigned, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying emergency services and/or site contacts as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with dispatch, supervisors, and airport personnel regarding incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
