Could you be the full-time Warehouse Manager in Cairo, Egypt we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and logistics expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, dynamic, and forward-thinking team.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient material flow and alignment between physical and system processes in a dedicated warehouse area. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams (such as warehouse key users, production teams, and external logistics providers), monitor key performance indicators, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.

You’ll specifically take care of managing a team of logistics operators and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies, but also oversee the execution of material counts, movements, and storage within the information system.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring employees operate in a safe and compliant environment, adhering to company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

  • Overseeing material storage, guaranteeing availability, integrity, and on-time delivery to the production line.

  • Managing physical material flows (e.g., reception, put-away, kitting, shipping) and ensuring alignment with system flows.

  • Ensuring effective use of the ERP system and providing training to logistics operators.

  • Monitoring and challenging performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Contributing to the APSYS roadmap and continuous improvement activities within the warehouse area.

  • Providing leadership to the team by setting objectives, coaching, and supporting their development.

  • Optimizing warehouse layout and line-feeding processes (e.g., Kanban flow).

  • Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and ensuring their compliance with Alstom’s standards and performance expectations.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Industrial or Supply Chain Management (mandatory).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management position (mandatory).

  • Experience and understanding of ERP solutions (mandatory).

  • Knowledge of ERP SAP (IM and WM modules) (desirable).

  • Specialization in Supply Chain (desirable).

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Problem-solving and priority management abilities.

  • Team-oriented, reliable, and agile mindset.

  • Inclusive and responsible attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey - the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from monotonous daily routines.

  • Work with innovative logistics and warehouse management solutions.

  • Utilise our inclusive and flexible working environment.

  • Steer your career in whichever direction you choose across functions and countries.

  • Benefit from our investment in your development through award-winning learning programs.

  • Progress towards leadership roles or specialized positions within supply chain management.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step into one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
