Customer Delivery Services Americas turns customer commitments into successful technology outcomes across the region. The team brings together delivery leadership, product, engineering, services, operations and commercial stakeholders to implement complex airline and travel solutions and sustain trusted customer partnerships.
Summary of the role:
The role will have two angles:
You’ll animate & coach locally a Bogota-based team of Delivery Managers, working on different airline accounts across the regions.
You’ll be personally directing a strategic, complex customer program.
Through this role, you’ll combine people leadership with senior program accountability, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver scope, schedule, cost, quality and customer outcomes.
In this role you’ll:
- Coach and develop Delivery Managers in Bogota, setting clear objectives, allocating work, managing performance and building capability, succession and an engaged local delivery community.
- You’ll also contribute to develop the local Bogota ecosystem, fostering collaborations between the Delivery Teams and other local teams Engineering, Helpdesk, ..)
- Personally lead a strategic customer program from initiation through acceptance and closure, with accountability for scope, integrated plan, budget, resources, quality, risks, issues, dependencies and change.
- Establish effective governance and executive reporting, maintain a consolidated view of commitments and decisions, and act as the senior escalation point for customer and delivery issues.
- Build trusted relationships with customer IT and business executives, and mobilize Product, Engineering, Services, Operations, Commercial and other line organizations to secure commitments and deliver contracted outcomes.
About the ideal candidate:
- You bring substantial experience in customer-facing technology delivery, including direct leadership of Delivery or Project Managers and hands-on ownership of large or complex projects or programs across multiple functions, geographies or business lines.
- You have proven command of integrated scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, quality, change and governance, and can communicate clearly with senior customer and internal stakeholders.
- You combine strong people leadership with business and financial acumen, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to create clarity, accountability and collaboration across organizational boundaries.
- You hold a university degree in business, engineering, computer science, aviation or a related discipline, or have equivalent relevant experience.
- You understand airline or travel technology delivery and are professionally fluent in English and Spanish.
- Regional and customer travel will be required as business needs demand.
