Job Title

Architectural Leadership

• Define and communicate the system architecture vision for MeetingBroker encompassing browser, API (Application Programming Interface), integration, and cloud layers.
• Lead and guide logical, integration, and deployment architecture for:
  • .NET / C# backend services
  • Azure-hosted workloads
  • External integrations (identity, hotel systems, enterprise services)
• Ensure alignment in authentication/authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth/OIDC usage), API contracts, data access, and persistence models.
• Collaborate with product teams to design scalable, cost-effective solutions that address business needs.
• Support initiative scoping to enable teams’ success.

Architectural Planning & Technical Strategy

• Maintain the technical foundation that supports features without excessive redesign.
• Define technology standards for .NET/C# frameworks, Azure services, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead modernization efforts, including cloud evolution and integration simplification.
• Advocate for security best practices and ensure ongoing alignment to protect systems.
• Ensure teams have actionable architecture-related backlog items.

Agile Collaboration

• Serve as System Architect at the Agile Release Train (ART) level and participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning.
• Prepare and share architecture enablers and technical epics with stakeholders.
• Partner with product management on feature analysis and dependency management.
• Mitigate delivery risks and manage technical debt collaboratively.

Team Enablement and Collaboration

• Empower teams to make local design decisions aligned with agreed architecture.
• Provide expert guidance on implementation trade-offs and validate key decisions.
• Publish reference patterns and architecture documentation for transparency.
• Support engineers with technical expertise to overcome complex challenges.

Quality, Security & Reliability

• Embed non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and scalability within designs.
• Foster practices that enable observability, operational readiness, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate closely with security and operations teams to meet compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Extensive practical experience in .NET/C# enterprise systems (12+ years).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, distributed systems, and service-oriented architecture.
• Proficiency in API design, integration patterns, and authentication/authorization flows.
• Expertise in CI/CD and cloud-native operational management.

Architecture & Agile

• Proven experience as a System Architect or in a similar role.
• Comprehensive understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices, including ART-level responsibilities.
• Track record in developing technical enablers and sustaining architecture runway.

Interpersonal and Collaboration Skills

• Skilled at communicating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Decision-making approach that balances delivery speed and long-term sustainability.
