Aman is a global luxury hospitality brand renowned for its exclusive, design-led hotels, resorts, and branded residences worldwide. Founded in 1988 with its flagship resort in Phuket, Thailand, the company emphasizes privacy, understated architecture, high staff-to-guest ratios, and seamless integration with natural and historical surroundings. Today, the group operates dozens of secluded retreats and urban sanctuaries across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean, catering to discerning travelers seeking serene and personalized travel experiences.

Location Overview

Join our team in Amandari. Presided over by a sacred stone tiger, Amandari was designed after a traditional Balinese village on the verdant lip of the Ayung River Gorge. Free-standing guest suites are reached via winding pathways, while the curving swimming pool mimics the rice paddies below. Close to the artistic centre of Ubud, this place of peace invites both reflection and the exploration of Bali’s cultural heart.

Role

The Spa Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Spa at Amandari while ensuring exceptional guest experiences through consistent service excellence and the continuous training and development of Spa Associates. This role supports the Spa Manager in maintaining Aman brand standards, enhancing guest satisfaction, and fostering a culture of learning, professionalism, and wellness.

  • Develop and implement training plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and competency assessments for Spa Associates.

  • Monitor therapist performance and provide regular coaching, feedback, and development plans.

  • Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with Aman brand standards, hygiene protocols, and safety procedures.

  • Handle guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery professionally and promptly.

  • Coordinate therapist schedules to maximize productivity while maintaining exceptional guest service.

  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new Spa Associates.

  • Maintain accurate training records, performance reports, and compliance with Learning & Development requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Spa Manager and other resort departments to create seamless wellness experiences for guests.

  • Ensure spa facilities, treatment rooms, equipment, and retail displays are well maintained and fully stocked.

  • Promote spa treatments, wellness programs, and retail products to support departmental revenue objectives.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Spa Therapy, Wellness, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a luxury spa environment, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or training role.

  • Strong knowledge of spa therapies, massage techniques, wellness concepts, and luxury guest service.

  • Demonstrated experience in training delivery, coaching, and team development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities.

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
