Amazon is an American technology and retail conglomerate founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 as an online bookstore and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It operates the world's largest online marketplace together with a global logistics network, physical grocery stores and a third-party seller platform that accounts for most units sold. Amazon Web Services, launched in 2006, is the leading public cloud provider and generates the majority of the group's operating profit, while advertising, Prime Video, Alexa devices and Kuiper satellite broadband round out the business.

Are you passionate about making operations run smoother and more efficiently? Amazon is looking for a Process Improvement Specialist to join our EU FBA Support Operations team, where you will identify opportunities to enhance workflows, reduce waste, and drive meaningful results. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to build and implement solutions that directly impact team performance and the associate experience.

You will bring a data-informed mindset and a knack for problem-solving to tackle real operational challenges. Whether you are analyzing process metrics, creating new standard operating procedures, or coordinating with stakeholders to roll out improvements, your contributions will help us deliver for customers more effectively every day. If you are a curious, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

A successful candidate must be able to work independently, thrive in ambiguous environments, effectively influence internal/external partners at all levels of the organization. This role will particularly suit someone with a strong innovative mindset, relationship building skills, operational excellence, superior project management capabilities, and strong people management experience.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate project status, track progress, and drive alignment on improvement plans, ensuring clear and concise updates across all levels.
  • Monitor system performance and service levels through defined metrics, using findings to refine processes and sustain long-term operational gains.
  • Support development and implementation of Automation through data-driven analysis by coordinating with wider organization and tracking progress
  • Identify and implement sustainable improvements for operational excellence using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies

Additionally, you might start your morning reviewing performance dashboards to spot trends or anomalies in s key metrics. From there, you could spend time on observing a workflow firsthand, gathering input to engage directly with stakeholders, sellers and and manage what is working and what could be better. You might draft a new procedure based on your findings, coordinate with a partner team on an upcoming rollout, or present a recommendation to leadership. You will balance hands-on problem-solving with clear documentation and communication throughout the day. About the team Today, over 60% of worldwide purchases on Amazon are for products from third-party businesses, mostly from Small- and Medium-sized businesses. Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) enables these businesses (our Selling Partners) to hand over the heavy lifting of warehousing, payment processing, delivery returns and customer service to Amazon, utilizing the capabilities that Amazon has built over the last 25+ years. Our team is dedicated to making Amazon's fulfillment operations as efficient and reliable as possible. We focus on identifying what can be improved across processes, tools, and systems, then work together to turn those ideas into action.
