Amazon is an American technology and retail conglomerate founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 as an online bookstore and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It operates the world's largest online marketplace together with a global logistics network, physical grocery stores and a third-party seller platform that accounts for most units sold. Amazon Web Services, launched in 2006, is the leading public cloud provider and generates the majority of the group's operating profit, while advertising, Prime Video, Alexa devices and Kuiper satellite broadband round out the business.

We are seeking a Program Manager to drive technology integration and process improvements across Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) business lines. In this role, you will lead cross-collaborative initiatives that identify co-dependencies and drive alignment between teams to advance operational efficiencies. You'll build comprehensive roadmaps, define clear requirements, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure successful implementation of new technologies and processes at scale. This position requires exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and workflow management expertise to navigate complex cross-functional programs with significant business impact.

As a Program Manager, you'll serve as a critical liaison between multiple stakeholders, facilitating meaningful collaboration that translates operational needs into actionable technology solutions. You'll be responsible for streamlining processes, eliminating inefficiencies, and establishing metrics to track program success while balancing technical feasibility with business objectives.

Key job responsibilities

Design and manage roadmaps for integrating new technologies and processes across ATS business lines, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying co-dependencies between teams.

Lead cross-functional collaboration initiatives by facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, translating technical requirements into actionable plans, and building consensus across diverse teams.

Develop and implement process improvement strategies that streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance operational performance through data-driven analysis and metrics tracking.

Proactively identify and mitigate program risks by conducting thorough assessments, developing contingency plans, and ensuring timely escalation of critical issues to appropriate stakeholders.

Partner with stakeholder teams to define clear requirements, establish success criteria, and drive the successful delivery of programs that impact ATS supply chain.

A day in the life

Your typical day involves a mix of planning and tactical execution. You'll begin with coordination meetings across various stakeholders to align on priorities and address emerging challenges. Throughout the day, you'll spend time refining roadmap strategies, documenting detailed requirements for new technology implementations, and identifying potential risks or dependencies that could impact delivery timelines. You'll collaborate closely with technical and operational teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and properly translated into viable solutions, while continuously evaluating progress against established metrics.
