Security Program Manager, Infrastructure Physical Security

The Amazon Data Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. (ADSIPL) Data Center Security Group is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Systems Project Manager to join our team. The team is responsible for the design, installation and integration of security systems equipment including, but not limited to, Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.

You will also be responsible for the continuous review of existing standards and to stay abreast of developments in new technology that will enhance the physical security of ADSIPL data centers and co-locations. You will work directly with the Cluster Security Manager, the Infrastructure Operations and Construction teams, and other customers, both internal and external, to integrate the business' requirements into physical security systems design and implementation. Your work will include supporting the construction and deployment of physical security packages for all ADSIPL data centers and co-locations in the cluster. You will also work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with all security standards during the construction, testing and acceptance phases of the projects.

The ideal candidate for the role will have demonstrated the ability to work in all disciplines, at all levels; from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system. You will have an in-depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and will have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.

Key job responsibilities

You will be responsible for observing Physical Security Standards and Programs that support the goals of the Global Physical Security Team, while enabling the local site managers to draw related services from the team, in a self-service manner.

This includes:

Excellent large-scale project and program management experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Lead physical security design and system installation for new data centers, data center expansions and special projects

Lead physical multi-million-dollar security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.

Contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.

Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for leadership to make strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.

Effective prioritization of tasks, and seamless operation across organizational boundaries

Execution and coordination of preventative maintenance and repairs to security system equipment.

Ensuring compliance with physical security project standards, project Scopes of Work, budgets and timelines.

Designing, developing, and implementing solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and change management.

Supporting security system equipment commissioning, Completing final Test, Acceptance and project hand-off

Building and deploying training programs for all users of physical security systems

Basic qualifications

- 5+ years of leading large complex programs experience

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Communications Engineering

- Experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, etc.

- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite

- 10 years’ experience managing the Physical Security System Deployment Projects.

Preferred qualifications

- 5+ years of vendor management experience

- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

- PMP, Prince2, PgMP, SAFe or SCRUM/Agile certification
