Senior Partner Solution Architect, Partner Solutions

As a Senior Partner Solution Architect on Amazon Ads Partner Solutions, you help agencies, SaaS platforms, CDPs, and systems integrators design and ship integrations across the Ads API, Amazon Ads Agent, Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), and Amazon Marketing Stream, spanning Sponsored Ads and Display, Video, and Audio (DVA) use cases. You work across these products to build the dozens of use cases and hundreds of solutions our partners bring to market on AWS. You bring strong solution-architecture and data skills. If you are coming from a cloud or platform background without ad-tech, you will ramp on the Amazon Ads domain with support from the team.

Key job responsibilities

- Design and implement partner integrations across the Ads API, Amazon Ads Agent, AMC, and Amazon Marketing Stream, spanning Sponsored Ads and Display, Video, and Audio (DVA) use cases and the full range of solutions partners build on these products.

- Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering with partners; guide them through technical decisions to successful delivery.

- Develop reusable patterns and best practices; mentor junior solution architects; influence the product roadmap.

A day in the life

Your day involves designing and reviewing technical solutions for advertising partners, focusing on helping them implement Amazon's advertising capabilities effectively. You lead technical implementation discussions, create architecture diagrams, and provide best practices guidance. Throughout the day, you develop proof of concepts, collect partner feedback, and collaborate with product and engineering teams. You mentor junior architects while ensuring partner solutions are properly implemented and optimized for performance across advertising platforms.

The Amazon Ads Partner Solutions team enables partners to build and scale innovative advertising technology solutions. Working with customer data platforms, systems integrators, agency holding companies, independent agencies, ad servers, and retail media platforms, this global team designs and delivers technical solutions that drive partner success. The team combines deep advertising technology expertise with Amazon's latest capabilities, including AI-driven features, to help partners build scalable, secure, and performant solutions. Through technical leadership and close collaboration with product teams, they influence both partner solutions and Amazon Ads product development, driving innovation across the advertising ecosystem.

Basic qualifications

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English

- 5+ years in a technical, partner- or customer-facing solutions role (pre-sales SA, solutions/integration engineering, or equivalent)

- Hands-on RESTful API integration; proficiency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python

- Experience designing and delivering solutions on a major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent)

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

- Experience with advertising or marketing technology: Amazon Marketing Cloud, Amazon Ads Agent, Ads API, Amazon Marketing Stream, or close equivalents at another DSP, retail-media, or martech platform

- Familiarity with privacy-safe / clean-room data patterns (1P data, pseudonymized signals)

- Comfortable ramping quickly on a new product domain; deep ad-tech experience is welcome but not required if you bring strong solution-architecture and data skills

- Experience deploying AI/GenAI-enabled features in production; AWS service familiarity; enterprise-partner experience (agency holding companies, CDPs, SIs, ad servers)
