Amazon is an American technology and retail conglomerate founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994 as an online bookstore and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. It operates the world's largest online marketplace together with a global logistics network, physical grocery stores and a third-party seller platform that accounts for most units sold. Amazon Web Services, launched in 2006, is the leading public cloud provider and generates the majority of the group's operating profit, while advertising, Prime Video, Alexa devices and Kuiper satellite broadband round out the business.

This role drives sustainability reporting across APAC regions, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver disclosures. This role will track, meet and influence evolving regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will combine developing expertise in sustainability frameworks with strong analytical and program management skills to build scalable reporting mechanisms in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key job responsibilities

- Manage and prepare the business for mandatory energy and sustainability reporting requirements.

- Track progress on emerging sustainability policy, standards and implementation plans within APAC and support opportunities to amplify impact or influence standards.

- Provide guidance and direction to other AWS teams on sustainability requirements within the region.

- Monitor and interpret external stakeholder signals and regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions, translating them into a structured, decision-ready messaging framework.

- Convert technical and sustainability content (energy efficiency, water usage, carbon-free energy, infrastructure) into clear, credible, accessible language in alignment with messaging standards.

- Work successfully in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment to meet tight deadlines.
