In line with our growth strategy Deloitte Türkiye is looking for a Credit Risk Model Auditor to join our growing Financial Risk Advisory team. In this role, you will contribute to high-profile engagements across the financial industry, focusing on IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models, model governance, and regulatory expectations within the Audit & Assurance Department with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field,
• 1- 3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:

IFRS 9 modelling / validation / audit,

Credit risk modelling (PD/LGD/EAD),

Model governance or risk management in financial institutions.

• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or SAS/Python/R,
• Strong command of MS Office applications,
• Strong interest in financial risk, regulatory frameworks, and data analysis,
• Familiarity with financial modeling, risk quantification, and auditing is a plus,
• Excellent command on English & Turkish; both written and oral,
• Understands expectations and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping performance on track,
• Analytical and structured thinking, strong problem-solving skills,
• Builds relationships and communicates effectively in order to positively influence peers and other stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Perform IFRS 9 model audits covering PD, LGD, EAD and staging methodologies,
• Assess model design, data quality, assumptions, segmentation, macroeconomic models, overlays and post-model adjustments,
• Evaluate model performance, backtesting practices, and monitoring frameworks,
• Review compliance with BRSA, IFRS 9, Basel III/IV, EBA, ECB and internal governance requirements,
• Identify model risks and provide practical, value-adding recommendations,
• Prepare high-quality data analysis, audit documentation and deliverables,
• Collaborate with clients, model development teams, validation units, risk management, internal audit, and senior management.
• Develop expertise in financial risk management, quantitative modeling, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
