AMD

AMD is an American semiconductor company founded in 1969 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, that designs processors, graphics chips and adaptive computing hardware without owning fabrication plants. Its Ryzen and Threadripper processors and Radeon graphics serve consumers and creators, EPYC server chips have taken a large share of the data centre market from Intel, and the Instinct accelerators compete for AI training and inference workloads. The 2022 acquisition of Xilinx added field-programmable gate arrays and adaptive systems on chip, and the company also supplies the custom silicon inside the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives across Marketing Technology. This leader will connect marketing priorities with technical execution across teams, platforms, data, and processes. The role will establish the operating mechanisms, decision-making practices, and delivery discipline needed to move complex programs from definition through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.

THE PERSON:

You are an experienced technical program leader who can move comfortably between business priorities and technical detail. You bring structure to complex and ambiguous initiatives, align teams with different priorities and dependencies, and identify risks early enough to drive effective decisions. You understand software and product development well enough to work credibly with engineering teams while representing the program across Marketing, Product, Creative, Data, Analytics, IT, Security, Legal, Procurement, and external partners. You exercise independent judgment, influence without direct authority, and bring the technical curiosity needed to work effectively in an environment increasingly shaped by AI and automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead complex MarTech programs from definition and planning through development, launch, adoption, measurement, and ongoing improvement.
  • Establish and manage the development operating model, including planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, decision points, and success measures.
  • Coordinate execution across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Creative, Data, Analytics, IT, Security, Legal, Procurement, and external partners.
  • Partner with engineering and product leaders on scope, architecture dependencies, testing, launch readiness, and operational handoffs.
  • Identify cross-program dependencies and delivery risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive timely decisions.
  • Establish clear program governance, reporting, escalation paths, and mechanisms for communicating program health.
  • Translate complex technical and business issues into clear trade-offs and recommendations.
  • Define and track program outcomes, adoption, delivery quality, and business impact.
  • Establish post-launch operating models covering ownership, maintenance, monitoring, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Support stakeholder readiness and adoption as new MarTech, AI, automation, and agentic capabilities are introduced.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology or software programs with significant organizational scope.
  • Strong understanding of software and product delivery, including Agile development, release planning, testing, dependencies, and operational readiness.
  • Technical depth sufficient to understand architectures, integrations, APIs, data flows, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish operating mechanisms and bring structure to complex or ambiguous initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating across engineering, product, business, creative, data, and partner organizations.
  • Experience developing roadmaps, governance, executive reporting, and portfolio-level views of delivery, dependencies, and risk.
  • Demonstrated independent judgment and ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills across technical, business, and leadership audiences.
  • Experience with MarTech, AdTech, digital marketing, marketing operations, campaign technology, analytics, AI-enabled products, or adjacent environments is a plus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience and demonstrated impact.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
