Job Description
The Portfolio Management Assistant supports daily portfolio operations, trade-readiness, rebalancing activity, business development activities, issue resolution, and process improvement efforts. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with Portfolio Managers, internal operations teams, external business partners, and vendors in a fast-paced environment.How you'll spend your time...
Execute daily portfolio validation and monitoring processes, including validation checks, automated reporting review, cash position tracking, and flow monitoring to ensure accurate portfolio operations.
Identify and escalate portfolio issues requiring immediate attention to minimize operational risk and support timely resolution.
Implement portfolio rebalance scheduling in preparation for trading activities.
Support trading and rebalancing activity by raising orders in order management systems and acting as a second set of eyes for Portfolio Managers.
Execute market orders and manage corporate actions to support accurate and efficient portfolio activity.
Communicate with external business partners, vendors, internal operations teams, and counterparties to support smooth daily operations.
Troubleshoot settlement issues, monitor partial fills, and coordinate follow-ups to resolve operational breaks.
Drive process improvement and documentation initiatives by identifying automation opportunities, developing standard operating procedures, and maintaining process documentation to support business continuity.
Review client proposals to ensure data integrity before sending to Distribution partners.

Understanding of direct indexing, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
Familiarity with portfolio optimization concepts.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Experience with process automation tools.
Foundational knowledge of AI theory and practical automation use cases.

In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $76,700 - $90,000 per year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
