Client Onboarding Specialist

Job Description

Job Purpose

Drive the onboarding and enablement journey for newly registered clients, ensuring a structured and engaging experience from sign-up to activation. Guide clients through training, key milestones, and proactive engagement to drive early adoption, confidence, and long-term success.

Key Performance Areas

• Drive the end-to-end onboarding journey for new clients.
• Conduct structured and engaging orientation sessions that clearly position the business, explain processes, and equip clients with the knowledge and confidence to begin trading successfully.
• Schedule and conduct follow-up meetings at predetermined touchpoints.
• Identify, manage, and communicate onboarding progress and challenges effectively.
• Understand client’s business and how we can complement their growth with our offering.
• Deliver and guide onboarding sessions that build client confidence and understanding.
• Enable clients to effectively use available tools, platforms, and resources.
• Support early client success by helping clients adopt services quickly.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve client onboarding and education.
• Present to leaders on trends and client business information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.

Job Requirements

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree advantageous (any discipline; business, communications, or related is a plus).
• Experience in customer service, client success, training, or similar roles.
• Familiarity with onboarding or CRM tools.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a client-facing environment, preferably in customer onboarding, customer success, sales support, or implementation roles.
• Proven experience conducting client training sessions (virtual or in-person), product demonstrations, and structured onboarding walkthroughs.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and workflow management tools, with the ability to track milestones, manage multiple onboarding projects, and report on progress.
• Strong facilitation, system adoption, and communication skills are essential.
