We're reshaping access to private markets in the Middle East and beyond. We're creating the foundational backend systems that power private market access, from secure authentication and transaction processing to portfolio management and regulatory compliance.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer to own key surfaces of the platform end to end: the investor experience where users onboard, invest, and track their portfolios, and the internal operations console the team uses to run the business. Our internal operations tooling is as much the product as anything the customer sees, and the tools you build decide how well the team can move.

"Product engineer" for us means someone who thinks in products and systems, not in frontend or backend silos. You'll build user-facing experiences in React and the APIs and logic behind them, and own features from an idea through deployment and monitoring.

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Own product features end to end

• Build the investor-facing experience: onboarding, portfolios, holdings, transactions, statements, and reporting

• Build the internal operations and admin console the team uses to manage accounts, transactions, and approvals

• Design clear, responsive UIs as well as the data models and APIs beneath them

• Practice Test-Driven Development and keep coverage high

• Partner directly with product and design to solve real user problems

• Take technical ownership of the surfaces you build within the platform architecture

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-stack development on production systems

• Product-and-systems thinking: you own outcomes across the stack and care about the user and the business, not just your layer

• Balanced full-stack expertise: strong frontend and backend development track record

• Product-minded: genuine curiosity about user needs and the judgment to make good product calls

• Proven ability to build and take pride in internal tooling, not just customer-facing polish

• TDD practices and solid PostgreSQL and REST API experience

• AWS / cloud experience

• Startup DNA: high autonomy, comfortable with rapid change, biased to action

Nice to Have

• Financial applications, transactional systems, or investment-platform experience

• Domain-Driven Design knowledge

• Data-visualization experience

• Private-markets or securities domain interest

• Infrastructure as Code familiarity

Location & Work Style

Based in Bahrain office, but we'd consider fully remote employees outside Bahrain within 3 hours time difference. This role requires close collaboration with product and investment teams.
