IT Support Engineer with German
Andersen is hiring a IT Support Engineer (Windows) in the EU for a project supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and ensuring reliable system operations across international environments.
The customer is an international engineering and technology company delivering software and digital solutions for complex, large-scale systems. Its expertise includes embedded development, cloud technologies, AI-powered tools, and digital engineering, supporting innovation across multiple industrial domains.
The project is focused on delivering first-line IT support services for hardware and software environments. It aims to ensure efficient incident resolution, coordinate with external service providers, and provide seamless escalation to specialized support teams to maintain reliable IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Processing end-user support tickets, including analysis, resolution, and documentation.
- Providing operational support for Windows client environments.
- Troubleshooting Windows client issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Installing and deploying software on end-user devices.
- Investigating software installation issues and performing error analysis.
- Communicating with end users throughout ticket investigation and resolution.
- Documenting performed actions, technical findings, root causes, and resolutions.
- Providing support related to Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, and PowerShell where applicable.
- Recording the actual effort spent for monthly service reporting.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a SysOps for 2+ years.
- Strong knowledge of Windows client environments.
- Experience with Windows client support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Experience handling support tickets and communicating with end users.
- Experience with software installation, deployment, and installation error analysis.
- Structured problem-solving mindset.
- Level of English - from Intermediate+ and above.
- Level of German - from Advanced and above.
Nice to haves:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, and PowerShell.
