AVP - Cloud Operations

Responsibilities:

• Strong leadership of a team of cloud engineers in India, building and growing the team and interfacing with adjacent teams in India and abroad.
• Operate and monitor GCP and Azure cloud platforms from an automation, availability, security and performance aspect.
• Provide support to cloud platform users in the Product IT teams.
• Process requests / Jira tickets handed in by Product IT teams.
• Drive automation of operations of the cloud platform in collaboration with other cloud platform teams.
• Work closely with information security, enterprise architecture, cloud platform engineering, and emergency response teams.
• Advise the different product IT teams within DBG with deep technical know-how in their efforts of securing cloud workloads.
• Share and exchange knowledge and expertise within DBG.

Requirements:

• University degree related to information technology, cybersecurity, or other technical degree.
• At least five years' experience in a management capacity, including team lead capability.
• 3 years' experience in complex IT operations and IT service management.
• 5 years' work experience in cloud computing with experience regarding GCP and Azure.
• Knowledge and experience in the area of information security concepts and tools, container technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and scripting.
• Highly organised, with strong communication capabilities and team orientation.
• Independent work method, high commitment to quality, and high self-responsibility and ownership.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (at least level B2).
