Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking an outstanding engineering talent with the experience to lead the design, solutioning, and delivery of large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should be product-focused and deeply passionate about solving complex problems. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across the organisation while driving consistent delivery outcomes. This role requires proven experience in managing multiple projects successfully within scope, timelines, and budget constraints. The candidate should be capable of designing innovative technology solutions that address business needs using modern and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of integration patterns and architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native solutions, microservices architecture, and API orchestration, including their advantages and trade-offs.
• Hands-on experience with Java, NoSQL, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring, metrics, tracing, service mesh, LTM, GTM, and related tools.
• Strong understanding of API platforms, backend services, databases, and networking components across full-stack infrastructure.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with application development tools.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification.

Preferred:

• Experience leading and managing end-to-end integration solution development for enterprise software or hosted technology services.
• Experience with AWS Solutions Architecture.
• Experience with Application Platform Architecture.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event Storming, Event Sourcing, and CQRS.
• Experience implementing microservices using industry best practices.
• Proven experience leading the development of cloud-native applications using frameworks such as Play, Akka, or Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Ability to perform requirement analysis, solution architecture reviews, high-level solution design, resource planning, and API specification development.
• Experience working in Agile environments with global and distributed teams.
• Demonstrated technology leadership and a strong results-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
