Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test strategies covering web, mobile, and backend/microservices layers.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium (web) and Appium (mobile).
  • Develop and maintain API/microservices test automation using RestAssured.
  • Write Java-based automation code following strong OOP principles.
  • Conduct API automation and integration testing with Playwright.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and apply STLC best practices across sprints.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis and resolution.
  • Support performance testing (JMeter), network mocking/debugging (Charles/Fiddler), and CI/CD integration (Jenkins) as needed.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience testing web, mobile, and backend applications.
  • Strong understanding of STLC and Agile methodology.
  • Hands-on web automation with Selenium, mobile test automation with Appium, and API and microservices testing experience with API automation using RestAssured.
  • Proficiency in Java with strong OOP fundamentals.
  • Experience with Playwright.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written/verbal communication for defect reporting and cross-team collaboration.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Performance testing experience (JMeter or equivalent); network mocking/debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler); CI/CD exposure, preferably Jenkins; cloud platform exposure (AWS or Azure).
  • Experience level: 4-6 years, specifically in QA/SDET roles spanning web, mobile, and backend/API testing.
