Senior Full Stack / Platform Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive engineer to join a technology team focused on building, automating, and supporting modern infrastructure and application platforms. This role combines software engineering, DevOps, platform operations, and cybersecurity principles to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions across complex environments.
You will work closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and technical specialists to drive continuous improvement initiatives, automate infrastructure processes, and support the delivery of high-quality technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and helping remove obstacles impacting engineering teams and product delivery.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver engineering solutions.
- Promote Agile and Lean practices, contributing to an efficient and adaptive engineering culture.
- Support planning activities, solution design, prioritization, and delivery execution.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure and application environments across both traditional and containerized platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, production, and disaster recovery environments.
- Contribute to technical mentoring, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices within the team.
- Participate in the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and operational procedures.
- Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure compliance with established technical standards and controls.
- Take ownership of hands-on engineering tasks, from design and implementation to operational support.
- Support secure development practices by applying cybersecurity principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Python for software development, automation, and scripting.
- Experience working within software engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, DevOps, or operations environments.
- Good understanding of network security, endpoint security, and data protection concepts.
- Knowledge of software architecture, system design, and application delivery methodologies.
- Experience in full-stack engineering, including backend services, frontend development, database design, and infrastructure integration.
- Understanding of API development standards and best practices, including OpenAPI and Swagger specifications.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful services, SOAP, JSON, and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms for applications and services.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing approaches.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or Windows administration is considered an advantage.
- Exposure to modern frontend technologies, UI development, wireframing tools, and design collaboration platforms is a plus.
