JOB SUMMARY:

Anteriad is seeking a seasoned Web Services Leader with 8+ years of progressive experience to own the strategy, architecture, and operational delivery of our website, landing pages, and digital-property ecosystem. Reporting directly into executive leadership, this individual will drive platform reliability, scalability, and governance across all corporate and client-facing web properties in support of B2B revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader equally comfortable managing budgets and roadmaps as they are diving into CMS platforms, web architecture, and analytics. They will lead and scale a high-performing team of managers, developers, and production specialists while serving as the primary point of accountability for senior stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the strategic roadmap, governance, and long-term direction for the organization's web services function, aligning priorities with business and revenue goals.

• Build, lead, and mentor a multi-tiered team (managers, developers, QA, and production specialists), including hiring, performance management, and career development.

• Drive delivery governance across the full web development lifecycle intake, prioritization, build, QA, deployment, and post-launch performance across concurrent client and corporate projects.

• Own platform strategy and architecture decisions across CMS, hosting, marketing automation, and web infrastructure (WordPress, HubSpot, Marketo, and related platforms). • Establish and enforce enterprise-grade standards for QA, accessibility (WCAG), security, performance, and site reliability across all digital properties.
• Own the analytics and measurement framework (GA4, Google Tag Manager, server-side tagging, dashboards) to ensure accurate, governed reporting across the business.

• Partner with SEO, design, content, and demand generation leadership to align web strategy with broader marketing and growth initiatives.

• Own budget planning, resource allocation, and vendor/agency management for the web services function, including contract negotiation and cost optimization.

• Serve as the senior escalation point for critical technical issues, outages, and security incidents, driving root-cause analysis and preventive process improvements.
• Define and maintain scalable documentation, SOPs, and governance frameworks to support process maturity and audit readiness. 
• Present web services performance, roadmap, and risk updates to senior leadership and key client stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on capacity planning, campaign launch calendars, and platform migrations or upgrades. 
• Champion a data-driven culture, translating web and campaign performance data into actionable, business-level recommendations. • Evaluate and introduce new tools, platforms, and technologies to improve team efficiency and platform capability.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy, accessibility, and security regulations relevant to web properties and client data.

 MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in web development, web production, or digital platform management, including 5+ years in a people-leadership or managerial capacity.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to guide architecture decisions and review technical work.

• Deep hands-on and governance-level experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, HubSpot, Marketo, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
• Proven expertise in web analytics and tagging frameworks (Google Analytics/GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console) and translating data into strategy.

• Demonstrated experience owning budgets, vendor/agency relationships, and resource planning for a web or digital function.
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG), site security best practices, and performance/SEO fundamentals.

• Experience with project and portfolio management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, JIRA, Asana, or similar) at scale.
• Track record of building, scaling, and developing high-performing teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with sound business judgment and decision-making under ambiguity.
• Desired: Experience managing web platforms for a B2B or MarTech organization.
