As an Applications Specialist based at APM Terminals Elizabeth, you will support the strategy, performance, reliability, and continuous improvementofoperationalsoftwaresystemsacrosstheterminal.Youwillhelpdelivermeasurableoperationalvaluebyimprovingsystemresilience,safety,standardization,andproductivitywhilesupportingbothday-to-dayoperationsandstrategicmodernizationinitiatives.

Working closelywithoperations,IT,laborrelations,globalfunctions,vendors,andotherstakeholders,youwillhelpensurereliableapplicationperformancewhilecontributingtothesuccessfulintegrationoftechnologysolutionsassociatedwiththeElizabethUpgradeProject.

KeyResponsibilities

• Supportthedeliveryofbusinessapplicationinitiativesalignedwithterminaloperationaltechnologystrategyandbusinesspriorities.
• Drivesystemreliabilityandperformancethroughincidentresolution,rootcauseanalysis,andcontinuousimprovementactivities.
• Supportthedeployment,integration,testing,andoperationalreadinessofexistingandnewOTsoftwaresolutions.
• Collaboratewithvendors,OEMs,andsystemintegratorstoensuresuccessfuldeliveryoftechnologysolutions.
• Resolveincidentsandservicerequestswithinagreedservicelevels,escalatingcomplexissueswhenrequired.
• Supportcompliancewithcybersecurityrequirements,enterpriseIT/OTstandards,laboragreements,andoperationalprocedures.
• Maintain,configure,install,andreplaceITandOThardwareandsoftwarecomponentswhilesupportingchangemanagementandoperationalreadinessactivities.

• Bachelor’sdegreeinInformationTechnology,ComputerScience,IndustrialEngineering,orarelateddiscipline.
• 1to3yearsofexperienceprovidingend-usersupportacrosssoftware,hardware,andmobiledevices,withstrongtroubleshootingcapabilities.
• Hands-onexperienceworkingwithOTinfrastructurecomponentsandoperationaltechnologysystems.
• KnowledgeofoperationalsystemssuchasGOS,TOS,AD,MTS,OCR,SCADA,ECS,orcomparableenvironments.
• UnderstandingofcybersecurityframeworksandenterpriseITstandardswithinOTenvironments.
• Strongcommunication,collaboration,problem-solving,andownershipskills,withtheabilitytomanagemultipleprioritieseffectively.
• AbilitytoobtainorrenewaTWICcardandPortAccessCardasrequiredforterminalaccess.

Thisrolecombinesoffice-basedworkwithregularvisitstoactiveterminal,yard,equipment,andconstructionareas.Youwillworkcloselywithoperationalteamstosupporttechnologydeployments,systemintegrationefforts,andliveoperationalenvironmentswhileadheringtoallHSSEandPPErequirements.

Salary: $80K - $90K
