Warehouse Supervisor

On behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company with more than 50 years of successful presence in the industry, based in Chalkida, Greece, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, managing inventory processes, overseeing receiving and loading activities, and coordinating the warehouse team, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, and loading processes.
• Monitor inventory levels, participate in stock counts, and ensure accuracy of warehouse records.
• Track warehouse movements and ensure proper transactions are recorded in the ERP system.
• Coordinate, guide, and supervise forklift operators and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of products according to company standards.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, and Sales teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and operational standards.
• Identify operational issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse and distribution processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of previous experience in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in inventory management, receiving, loading operations, and warehouse processes.
• Proven experience in coordinating warehouse teams and forklift operators.
• Good understanding of Warehouse Management and Logistics Operations processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
