About the Role :
We are seeking an AI Engineering Manager (India) to lead our India-based AI engineering team, driving architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions across Midera's global operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the India-based AI engineering and implementation team.
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop AI engineers and developers.
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
- Personally contribute to development of high-priority AI applications and integrations.
- Design and architect enterprise-grade AI applications, agents, and copilots.
- Lead technical design for solutions involving LLMs, generative AI, and RAG.
- Partner with the U.S.-based Manager, Enterprise AI on team structure, priorities, and resource planning.
- Establish coding and engineering standards across projects.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 10+ years of professional software engineering, cloud engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, or related technical experience.
- Strong Python development skills with hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and delivering production-grade enterprise applications.
- Demonstrated experience developing generative AI or LLM-based applications and working with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
- Experience integrating applications with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, authentication, authorization, APIs, security, source control, and CI/CD.
- Experience performing code reviews and technical design reviews.
Nice to have :
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with Dynamics 365, CRM systems, or enterprise data platforms.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or supply-chain environments.
- Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, or cloud-based AI operations.
