Engineer, Test

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

1.Develop SI performance testing in electrical lab

2.Optimize SI performance test process and data processing

3.Support quality issue and customer compliant analysis on SI performance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Streamline SI performance test processes to enhance testing efficiency.

2.Collaborate with Engineering, MQA, PDE, and ME teams to conduct failure analysis, and propose improvement suggestions for product SI performance.

3.Assign testing tasks to technicians based on test requests and work schedules.

4.Develop customized programs (when necessary) to optimize the efficiency of converting SI test data into visual charts.

5.Develop, review, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SI performance testing equipment and protocols.

6.Provide technical support, documentation, and guidance for SI performance testing activities.

7.Verify test data, review test reports, and ensure the accuracy of test results.

8.Communicate testing outcomes with requestors, explaining SI performance failures and providing actionable comments.

9.Undertake additional related duties as assigned by management.

10.Implement and maintain ISO/IEC 17025 standards for testing operations.

11.PBM knowledge sharing and application.

SCOPE:All electrical and SI performance testing for cable assembly in DG

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED:College or above, major in Electronic or Electrical Engineering

PREFERRED:Bachelor’s degree

WORK EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

• 3 years or above experience in SI performance testing
• Familiar with TDR, VNA, good understanding on SI knowledge

PREFERRED:

• SI performance testing experience on cable assembly /PCBA

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Windows/MS Office applications
• English communication skills, reading and writing
• C++ or VB or Python knowledge

PREFERRED:

• Good programming ability
• Good skills in speaking English
