About the Role :
Apptware is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to leverage their expert knowledge of building and operating cloud-native applications to deliver critical features across Apptware's distributed data platform.
This role also involves working as a senior full-stack developer, software that enables operational and analytical data sharing.
This role interacts closely with our globally dispersed product and engineering team, creating an immersive experience for Apptware's customers.
You should possess a strong customer-centric, product-oriented background, as well as a deep knowledge of full-stack languages and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities :
- 5+ years building and shipping production-grade full-stack applications
- Proficiency in Python / FastAPI (backend) and React + TypeScript (frontend)
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs in production prompt engineering and RAG pipelines with streaming responses
- Strong experience with GCP or AWS (Cloud Run, Firebase, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Firestore, or equivalent)
- Experience with real-time data streaming WebSockets, SSE, or WebRTC
- Proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Replit) to prototype and fortify production systems
- CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployment experience
- Passion for building accessible UIs for users with varying technical literacy especially Women centric design
Preferred :
- Experience with Vertex AI / Gemini specifically
- Worked with vector search or RAG systems (Algolia, Pinecone, pgvector, or equivalent)
- Built a PWA with mobile-first layout and WCAG 2.1 accessibility
- Audio pipeline experience: WebSocket streaming, AudioWorklet, GCP STT/TTS
- Prior 0-1 startup or founding-team experience
- Familiarity with CCPA compliance and PII handling best practices; HIPAA awareness a plus as our Q4 2026 coordination app will involve health-adjacent data and care provider integrations
