We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team inWinchester, SO21 2NF. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic chef to work within a busy education catering environment, preparing and serving high-quality meals while helping to deliver an exceptional dining experience for students, staff, and visitors.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals
• Ensuring food is produced in line with recipes, menus, and portion controls
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, allergen management, and kitchen cleanliness
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation, and deliveries
• Completing food safety records and due diligence documentation
• Supporting hospitality and special event catering where required
• Working collaboratively with the wider catering team
• Following food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times

• Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy catering environment
• Passion for producing high-quality food and delivering excellent service
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Positive attitude and flexible approach to work
• Relevant catering qualifications are desirable

• Successful candidates must pass an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencing employment.
• Due to the rural location of the site, access to your own transport is required.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
