Systems Administrator

Job Location: Fort Belvoir, VA

Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000

Eligibility/Clearance: Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI clearance

and be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph

Job Description:

Hard requirements:

- Active TS/SCI and eligible for a CI Poly. An adjudicated TS also

works, since NGA grants the SCI and runs the poly.

- U.S. citizen.

- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an

equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Security+ or DoW 8570 Level II equivalent, within 90 days of hire.

- UNIX, Windows and/or storage administration.

- Full time on site at Ft. Belvoir, VA, with after-hours on-call

support and 0-20% travel to local and similar sites. Must be able to

lift up to 40 pounds.

What the work needs (hands-on and current, not just exposure):

- Tier 2 and Tier 3 support of UNIX/Windows workstations and servers,

web servers and network attached storage

- OS and layered software installs, upgrades and patching, including

COTS/GOTS products

- Isolating hardware, software, OS and network problems, and working

trouble tickets through a tracking system

- Securing systems to STIG guidelines with tools such as Retina and

HBSS

- Data center maintenance, backup and recovery, and maintaining SOPs

- Pluses: imagery intelligence experience; scripting on Windows, Linux

and Solaris; Windows Server, Red Hat, IRIX, Solaris, Sybase,

Informix and SQL; network configuration management; a valid US

passport
