Purchasing Specialist

Job Description:

• Source new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Request and collect quotations from different suppliers.
• Compare quotations based on price, quality, quantity, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate prices, quantities, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare quotation comparisons and support supplier selection.
• Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments.
• Monitor market prices and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Support inventory optimization and purchasing planning.
• Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing records.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure purchasing requirements are fulfilled on time.
• Identify opportunities to improve company spending and outsourcing.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement.
• Experience in textiles and/or furniture is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and follow up on several orders simultaneously.
• Good command of English.
