Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team (ASAT) is the aerospace student team of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, where student members design, build and fly unmanned aircraft and rockets. Founded in November 2015 as the first aerospace student team of the university, it works through two technical departments, Aeronautics and Rocketry, alongside a marketing group, and has ranked among the top ten European student teams in both fields at international competitions. Its open member positions cover propulsion, avionics hardware and software, structures, aerodynamics, recovery systems, trajectory analysis, IT administration, graphic design and fundraising.
As an Avionics Hardware Engineer you will have the chance to design the team’s PCBs and the layout with which they interface. The PCBs that you will design will have to operate properly on the unusual conditions of a rocket flight, an engine test and other environments that accompany our projects.

- Project Jörmungandr,
- FPGA development,
- Project Air-brakes,
- All of the rocket projects currently running
Responsibilities:
- Circuit Design
- PCB Design using ECAD tools Soldering
- Hardware Testing Measurement System Layouts
Learned Skills:
- Analog and Digital Circuit Design
- Basic Electronics knowledge
- Familiarity with Embedded Systems
- Experience with PCB Design
- Ability to provide practical and reliable design solutions
- Programming skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team
