- Acquires hands-on clinical competency by delivering direct bedside care while concurrently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
- Engages in direct bedside patient careunder the supervision of a Registered Nurse to bridge the gap between academic theory and clinical practice.
- Collaborates closely with a dedicated Preceptor to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while gaining knowledge of clinical workflows.
- Required Credential(s):
- One or more of the following:
- Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following:
- Nurse Aide.
- High school diploma/GED required. Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer.
