QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of successful experience in admissions, enrollment
- management, education, consultative sales, business development, customer experience, or a related field.
- Experience in independent/private school admissions strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success working toward measurable enrollment, sales, or
- conversion targets.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and consultative communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret pipeline, conversion, and enrollment performance data.
- Experience using CRM and enrollment management systems; HubSpot or similar CRM experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, collaborative, and adaptable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant business applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Enrollment Performance & Pipeline Management
- Own and drive campus new enrollment and re-enrollment performance against established targets.
- Manage the admissions pipeline from inquiry through enrollment, ensuring timely and consistent movement of prospective families across each stage of the admissions journey.
- Monitor key enrollment KPIs, including lead volume and quality, response time, qualification, tours, applications, acceptances, conversion rates, and enrollments.
- Maintain accurate and current prospective family and pipeline information in the CRM and ensure consistent adherence to established CRM processes and standards.
- Lead campus enrollment forecasting, regularly assessing expected enrollments, risks, opportunities, and potential gaps against targets.
- Prepare and communicate enrollment performance updates and actionable insights to the Managing Enrollment Director and campus leadership.
- Participate in regular pipeline and enrollment performance reviews.
- Develop and execute recovery or acceleration plans when enrollment performance is below target.
- Use historical performance, current pipeline data, market insights, and family feedback to inform enrollment strategies and priorities.
2. Prospective Family Experience & Admissions
- Deliver a highly personalized, responsive, and consistent admissions experience from initial inquiry through enrollment and onboarding.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospective families, understanding their needs and effectively communicating Fairmont’s educational experience and value proposition.
- Conduct compelling and personalized campus tours designed to connect each family’s priorities with the strengths of the school.
- Ensure timely and personalized follow-up following inquiries, tours, applications, assessments, and admissions decisions.
- Identify potential barriers to enrollment and proactively develop strategies to support family decision-making and improve conversion.
- Coordinate and implement new student admissions procedures, including assessments and other admissions requirements.
- Partner with campus leadership, faculty, students, and current families to create meaningful opportunities for prospective families to experience the school community.
- Manage the new-family onboarding process in partnership with campus teams.
3. Recruitment, Community Outreach & Partnerships
- Develop and execute campus recruitment and community outreach strategies designed to increase awareness, generate qualified leads, and support enrollment growth.
- Represent Fairmont within relevant community organizations, businesses, schools, and community events. Some evening and weekend events are required.
- Identify and develop relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, businesses, relocation partners, and other organizations that can generate qualified prospective families.
- Develop and participate in events and experiences for prospective students and families.
- Engage students, faculty, current families, and alumni, when appropriate, as ambassadors for the school.
- Track the effectiveness and enrollment impact of outreach activities and partnerships.
- Identify new market opportunities and provide relevant insights to the Managing Enrollment Director and Marketing team.
4. Re-enrollment & Retention
- Partner with campus leadership to develop and execute re-enrollment and retention strategies.
- Monitor re-enrollment progress and proactively follow up with undecided families.
- Partner with school leadership to identify families at potential risk of withdrawal and support appropriate retention strategies and interventions.
- Analyze withdrawal and retention trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support initiatives designed to strengthen family engagement and the overall experience of current families.
- Collaborate with campus and regional teams on re-enrollment campaigns, communications, and family engagement initiatives.
5. Marketing, Admissions and Retention Planning
- Partner with the Managing Enrollment Director, Campus Director, and Marketing team in the development and execution of the annual MAR Plan, translating enrollment targets and market opportunities into actionable recruitment, conversion, and community engagement strategies.
- Provide Marketing with timely enrollment insights, market feedback, prospective family trends, and campus priorities.
- Partner with Marketing to identify lead-generation needs, target audiences, and opportunities to support enrollment goals.
- Monitor lead quality and conversion by source and provide feedback regarding campaign effectiveness and enrollment outcomes.
- Collaborate on admissions-related marketing initiatives, including testimonials, photography, events, collateral, and other recruitment materials.
- Ensure admissions messaging and prospective family communications consistently reflect Fairmont’s positioning and value proposition.
6. Financial Aid & Enrollment Support
- Guide prospective families through available financial aid, scholarship, and tuition-assistance opportunities, ensuring clear and accurate communication regarding processes, requirements, and timelines.
- Partner with Finance, the Managing Enrollment Director, regional leadership, and designated financial aid partners to support the review process and recommendations in accordance with established policies and approval protocols.
- Identify situations in which financial considerations may create barriers to enrollment and escalate them appropriately for review.
7. Fairmont-Wide Collaboration & Leadership
- Actively collaborate with the Managing Enrollment Director and Admissions
- Directors across Fairmont Schools to establish consistent admissions standards and practices.
- Share successful strategies and best practices across campuses to strengthen overall enrollment performance.
- Participate in Fairmont-wide enrollment initiatives, professional development, training, pipeline reviews, and strategic projects.
- Maintain strong working relationships with other Fairmont campuses and provide cross-campus support when appropriate.
- Collaborate with campus and regional leadership to continuously improve the prospective family journey and admissions processes.
- Supervise and develop Admissions Assistants and other Admissions team members, where applicable.
- Provide clear priorities, coaching, feedback, and accountability to direct reports.
Pay: $90,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily an office/classroom position. May require significant degree of intermittent walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. May require lifting of up to 20 lbs.
