Data Engineer

About the Role :

We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in GCP, Python, SQL, and data engineering to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud services, particularly BigQuery and Cloud Storage.

- Develop and optimize data processing and transformation workflows for large datasets.

- Use Python and SQL for data processing, analysis, transformation, and automation.

- Build and maintain data models and datasets to support analytics and reporting requirements.

- Ensure data pipelines and solutions meet scalability, reliability, security, and performance standards.

- Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues and implement performance improvements.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

- Apply data engineering best practices across development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Skills :

- 4 - 9 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Experience building and managing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

- Good understanding of data modelling, data processing, and large-scale datasets.

- Understanding of analytics concepts, statistical modelling, and machine learning fundamentals.

- Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
